Deuces Wild Video PokerVideo Poker Today > Deuces Wild Video Poker Deuces Wild video poker plays out the same as Jacks or Better except that in this game there are “Wild Cards”, the twos can take the form of any card needed to create a winning hand. This twist makes the ranking of winning hands change somewhat but the rest of the game is played the same, with five original cards dealt and then one chance at switching them up. Here is a list of the highest ranking hands down to the lowest ranking hands that receive a payout if made (notice that the first four hands depend on whether or not a two is present, the rest of the hands are considered made hands whether a two is used or not), Royal Flush (without the use of any deuces). This is a hand consisting of exactly one 10, J, Q, K and Ace of all the same suit. No two’s are allowed in achieving this, the top ranked and most difficult to achieve hand. For example, 10h, Jh, Qh, Kh and Ah. Four Deuces. This is a hand consisting of all four wild cards (four two’s) and any other. This hand is original to this game only and is considered the second highest ranked hand in this game. For example, 2h, 2d, 2c, 2s and 10d. Wild Royal Flush. A hand consisting of a 10, J, Q, K and Ace of the same suit. The difference here is that one or more two’s may be used to complete this hand. For example, 10d, Jd, 2h, Kd and 2c (where the 2‘s take the form of the Qd and Ad) OR 2d, Jc, Qc, Kc and Ac (the 2 here is equal to the 10c). Five of a Kind. This is hand consisting of five cards of the same rank. Obviously, at least one or more two’s must be used in order to form this hand. For example, 7h, 7d, 7c, 7s and 2h (where the equals a 7) OR 2d, 2c, 2h, 10d and 10h (where the 2’s take the form of any 10). Straight Flush. This hand consists of five cards in numerical sequence and of the same suit. For example, 4h, 5h, 6h, 7h and 8h OR 7d, 8d, 2h, 10d and 2c (where the 2’s take the form of the 9d and Jd). Four of a Kind. A hand that consists of 4 cards of the same rank and one other. For example, 10d, 10h, 10s, 10c and 4h OR 8s, 8c, 8d, 2c and 3h (the 2 here is equal to the 8h). Full House. A hand consisting of 3 cards of the same rank along with cards of another rank. For example, 8h, 8s, 8c, Qc and Qd OR 7d, 7h, 2c, 6h and 6h (where the 2 in this case is another 7). Flush. A hand consisting of 5 cards which are all of the same suit. For example, 3s, 7s, 10s, Js and As OR 6h, 9h, Kh, 2c and 2h (where the 2’s are equal to any two hearts). Straight. A hand consisting of five cards in numerical sequence (suit doesn’t play a role). For example, 7c, 8c, 9s, 10h and Jd OR 3d, 4h, 2s, 6d, 7d (where the 2 is any 5). Three of a Kind. A hand consisting of 3 cards of the same rank and any two others. Because of the introduction of the wild two’s, this is the lowest ranked hand in Deuces Wild. For example, 9d, 9h, 9c, Qs and Kd OR Ks, Kd, 2c, 8s and 4d (here the two is equal to a King). |
