Deuces Wild Cheat SheetVideo Poker Today > Deuces Wild Video Poker > Deuces Wild Cheat Sheet Print out and follow these tips in order to maximize your playability. Take your time and really try to understand why these tips are the best move. It will make it easier for you to memorize and follow in the long run. You don’t have to hurry; the video poker machine has no time limit. (Notice that the first four tips are if you are dealt at least one deuce, the rest are the actions you should take if no deuce is dealt on the initial hand). 1. Hold onto all five cards if dealt 4 deuces (no other card will improve this hand). 2. If dealt 3 deuces, hold all five cards if they make up a five of a kind or a royal wild flush otherwise just keep the three 2’s (this way you still have a chance of getting a five of kind or royal flush, if not you still have a four of a kind). 3. If you are dealt only one (or two) deuces, it’s worth it to keep any hand that is a paying one (you are guaranteed a payout) unless, as in Jacks or Better and other video poker games, you have four or three cards to a royal flush or straight flush(the payout is worth the risk). 4. If you only have one deuce no made hand, keep the deuce and draw four new cards. If no deuce is dealt initially follow these tips, 5. Keep any cards that form a paying hand in the initial deal. This way you are guaranteed a win 6. If you are dealt a paying hand but also four cards to the flush (four cards of same suit), go with the flush draw if the other hand is of lesser value. And if you are not automatically dealt a paying hand then follow this strategy (and if none of these hands are dealt, draw five brand new cards), 7. Hold on to any pair (in hopes of making a 3 of a kind) 8. Hold onto any four cards that will make up a straight flush or Royal flush. It is also worth while to hold onto any three cards that can make up a straight or Royal Flush (the payout amount is worth the risk). 9. Hold onto any four consecutive cards (in hopes of making a straight). 10. Hold onto any two or more 10, J, Q, K or Ace (if they are the same suit). |
